Incident #1018

CVSRT received a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist with the evacuation of an injured 70yr old male who had sustained a suspected fractured ankle.

Three team members went direct and were able to arrive on-scene very quickly and spoke the the ambulance crew who confirmed that the casualty had crawled 300 foot to edge of track were the paramedics could assist him.

CVSRT not required. Stand down en-route.
