At 12:26 today, CVSRT received a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist with the evacuation of an injury horse rider who had fallen when the horse was stung by a wasp. The rider had sustained a suspected leg fracture.
Whilst team members made their way to the location, SARLOC was used to pinpoint the exact location of the casualty. Once on-scene, CVSRT members packaged and transferred the casualty by stretcher to the land ambulance for onward journey to hospital. Also in attendance was Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
