Incident #1134

At 15:15 today, CVSRT received a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist with the evacuation of a male walker who had fallen approximately 20m down a steep slope from the main track at Hardcastle Crags.

Team members made their way to the location and once on scene assessed the casualty’s injuries. Thankfully he had sustained only minor cuts and bruises from the tumble.

The casualty was then placed on a stretcher and using a rope system, hauled back up the steep slope to the track and handed over to the ambulance crew.
