Incident #984

CVSRT received a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service and West Yorkshire Police to assist a female walker who had fallen and injured her leg.

The casualty had fallen whilst dog walking and could not place weight on her right leg. A neighbour and three police officers managed to move the casualty to their Land Rover, and then transported her to Bacup Road to await the ambulance.

Once on-scene, CVSRT members gave basic casualty care and entonox whilst the ambulance arrived.
