Team called to assist Yorkshire Ambulance Service with a lady who had slipped on a path behind the Stubbing Wharf, Hebden Bridge.

16 Team members headed to the scene. On arriving the team placed the casualty onto a stretcher and proceeded to extract the casualty down a field, along a steep cobbled path and into an awaiting ambulance.

CVSRT called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist with the extraction of a gentleman who had fallen in a stream in Harden, Bingley.

11 Team members quickly responded however whilst we were readying the vehicles, a stand down message was received.

The Ambulance crew on scene had managed to extract the casualty to their vehicle and therefore the team were no longer needed. A local team member actually made it to site as the stand down arrived and stayed to assist the Ambulance and Air Ambulance crews.

Team received a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service for assistance evacuating an injured 15yo male with ankle injury who was located in a wooded area that was inaccessible to vehicles.Team were stood down en-route as the YAS crew managed to evacuate the casualty.

CVSRT received a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with evacuation of casualty who was in a car down a steep embankment following an RTC.

The casualty was evacuated by Fire Service and Team so the team were stood down.

CVSRT received a request for urgent assistance from Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to evacuate an injured male who had fallen into the stream and was unconscious after striking his head.  

17 CVSRT members made their way to the casualty’s location in team vehicles or directly to the scene.  

A few moments after the accident, the injured gentleman regained consciousness and with the assistance of his walking companion, made their way to the road, where they met two YAS Rapid Response Vehicles and a Basic Doctor.

First on-scene team member, quickly assessed the situation and confirmed that rescue assistance was no longer required and the remaining CVSRT members stood down whilst en route.

The casualty received treatment on-scene before being transferred to hospital for further assessment of his head injuries.

Earlier this morning, CVSRT was called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to assist with the urgent evacuation of an injured walker who had fallen and sustained a suspected closed ankle fracture.

15 team members were available to respond instantly and made their way to our team vehicles, located in Mytholmroyd, Copley and Todmorden.

Once on-scene, CVSRT members assisted the paramedics and Yorkshire Air Ambulance crew to transfer the casualty by stretcher to the helicopter for a short flight to the land ambulance, situated at a nearby site.

At 9am, team members stood down and returned to base, then onward to their place of work.
