Navigate your way around… South Pennines Navigate your way around… South Pennines By Cathy Dyson

‘Navigate your way around… South Pennines’ by Cathy Dyson

10 Jun 2017

Back in 2015, an author called Cathy Dyson contacted the team asking for assistance with a book she was writing. We were happy to help and provided some advice on how to remain safe whilst out exploring the remote regions of the countryside, and also what to do in the event of an emergency and you require urgent medical assistance.

In return for our contribution, Cathy is kindly donating a percentage to CVSRT from the sale of the book.

‘Navigate your way around… South Pennines’ has now been published and is available to purchase online. >CLICK HERE<

About the book
The South Pennines covers an easily accessible area within one hour of where seven million of us live. It is packed full of wonderful moorland, industrial archaeology, ancient stone carvings, peaceful canals and picturesque villages. The landscape is varied and rugged but also a friendly and accessible training ground for beginner and more competent navigators alike. The walks are of different lengths and are grouped by navigation level. You are introduced to simple techniques gradually and have lots of opportunity to try things out with practical in-field activities.

Also available online from Amazon and Waterstones.
