Incident #1340

At 16:29 Saturday 3rd Apr 2021 Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) received a request from Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team (RPMRT) to assist with the evacuation of a male who had suffered a knee injury whilst out mountain biking on the Pennine Bridleway near Calderbrook.
 
CVSRT sent a small team direct from our callout in Elland to the incident. Upon arrival we provided assistance transferring the casualty onto a wheeled stretcher and evacuating him to a nearby farm and the awaiting ambulance.
