At 15:40 on Sunday 26th June 2021 Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) received a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with the evacuation of a female who had fallen whilst mountain biking in North Dean Woods, Greetland, suffering head, chest and hip injuries.
 
YAS were first on scene and provided initial medical care and pain relief.  
 
Upon arrival of CVSRT the casualty was placed in an immobilising and protective vacuum mattress, transferred onto a stretcher and carried to the road head and waiting ambulance.

At 19:49 on Saturday 26th June 2021 Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) received a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with the evacuation of a male who had fallen near Bronte Falls, suffering an ankle injury.
 
YAS were first on scene and provided initial medical care.  Upon arrival of CVSRT further medical care and pain relief was provided, the casualty was then placed onto a stretcher and carried out to the road and awaiting ambulance.

YAS were fist on scene and provided initial medical care and pain relief.  Upon arrival of CVSRT and the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) the casualty was placed in a protective winter casualty bag, onto a stretcher and carried out to the road and waiting ambulance.

At 10:54 on Saturday 26th June 2021 Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) received a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with the evacuation of a female who had fallen approximately 40ft on rocks whilst out walking in Otley Chevin Country Park.
 
Yas and the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) were fist on scene and provided initial medical care and pain relief.  Upon arrival of CVSRT the casualty was placed in an immobilising and protective vacuum mattress, onto a stretcher and carried out through the woods to the road and waiting ambulance.

At 08:12 on Tuesday 22nd June 2021 Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) received a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with the evacuation of a male who had fallen in shallow water whilst out walking in Hardcastle Crags.
 
CVSRT were first on scene and provided initial medical care and pain relief.  Upon arrival West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS) and the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) worked with CVSRT to safely lift the casualty from the water. They were then placed onto a stretcher and carried to the waiting ambulance.

At 16:21 on Saturday 19th June 2021 Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) received a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with the evacuation of a female who had fallen whilst out walking on Langfield Common, Todmorden, suffering an ankle injury.
 
CVSRT were first on scene and provided initial medical care and pain relief.  The Casualty was then placed onto a wheeled stretcher and transported to team vehicles located at the end of Warland Reservoir.  From this location we were able to transport the casualty in a team vehicle, along access tracks, 5km to the road and waiting ambulance.

YAS were first on scene and provided initial medical care and pain relief, immobilising the leg in a box splint.  Upon arrival of CVSRT the casualty was placed onto a stretcher and carried a short distance to the waiting ambulance.

At 08:36 on Sunday 13th June 2021 Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) received a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with the evacuation of a female who had fallen whilst out walking in Judy Woods, suffering a lower leg injury.
 
CVSRT members local to the area were first on scene and provided initial medical care.  Following the arrival of remaining members and team vehicles the casualty was provided pain relief and the injured leg was mobilised in a box splint.
 
The evacuation out of the woods involved a short rope system raise up a steep slope then a stretcher carry to the road head and awaiting ambulance.

At 17:02 on Saturday 12th June 2021 Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) received a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with the evacuation of a mountain biker who had fallen, suffering shoulder and leg injuries.
 
CVSRT were stood down on route as the YAS crew on scene were able to safely transfer the casualty to the ambulance with the help of members of the public.
