At 20:50 on Monday 31st August CVSRT received a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with the evacuation of a male who had become unwell whilst out on Midgley Moor.
 
Upon arrival of CVSRT the casualty had made their way to the road at edge of the moor.  CVSRT completed an initial assessment of the casualty and continued to monitor until the arrival of the ambulance.

At 12:14 on Monday 31st August CVSRT received a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with the evacuation a female who had suffered a shoulder injury whilst out walking on Baildon Moor.
 
CVSRT were first on scene and provided initial medical care.  After further assessment of the injury it was decided to complete the evacuation on a stretcher.  The casualty was packaged onto the stretcher and carried to the ambulance for transfer to hospital.

At 18:29 on Thursday 20th August 2020 Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) received a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with the evacuation of a male who had suffered a lower leg injury near Holme Farm Lane in Bardsley.
 
CVSRT were stood down en-route as a local farmer assisted YAS in transferring the casualty to the ambulance.

At 13:50 on Sunday 16th August 2020 Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) received a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with the evacuation of a female who had fallen from her horse in Elam Wood.
 
YAS were first on scene and provided initial medical care.  Upon arrival of CVSRT the casualty was immobilised in a vacuum mattress, placed onto a stretcher and carried out of the woods to the awaiting ambulance.

YAS provided initial medical care and upon arrival of CVSRT the casualty was transferred onto a stretcher and carried out of the woods to the awaiting ambulance.

At 07:10 on Tuesday 11th August 2020 Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) received a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) for assistance in locating a male who had begun to feel unwell after a fall whilst out running on Baildon Moor.
 
Communication with the casualties phone was lost shortly after the initial call which prevented the use of any phone find technology.
 
Teams from CVSRT, Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England (MRSDE), West Yorkshire Police (WYP) and the National Police Air Service (NPAS) searched an agreed area based on the casualties last known location.
 
Once the search of the agreed area was completed CVSRT were stood down awaiting further investigation from WYP.
 
The casualty was safely located outside of the search area by WYP.

At 09:00 on Friday 7th August 2020 CVSRT received a request from Buxton Mountain Rescue Team to provide an additional search dog team during the second day of a search in their area. 
 
Mountain Rescue Search Dogs England (MRSDE) search dog Meg, handler Pete and navigator Laura travelled to the area to complete a search of a pre-determined area.  The missing person was located by a one of the search parties, safe and well, and the search was concluded.

At 19:54 on Saturday 8th August 2020 CVSRT received a request from Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to assist with the evacuation of a female who had fallen whilst out walking in Sutcliffe Wood.
 
CVSRT were first on scene and provided initial medical care. The casualty was then immobilised in a vacuum mattress and placed onto a stretcher. Due to the steep terrain of the woods a safety rope system was set up, attached to the stretcher and the casualty was transferred out of the wood and to the awaiting ambulance.
 
The team would like to thank a local resident who allowed the team to use his land to park our vehicles, set up a control point and decontamination area and also arranged for a gate to be unlocked allowing a safer evacuation route of the casualty.
