#Callouts 2021

 

It has been another busy year for Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) with 72 callouts so far in 2021.

 

While we like to share our involvement when supporting the statutory emergency services, in particular West Yorkshire Police (WYP) and Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS), there are occasions where, due the sensitivity of the incident, we feel it is better not to share to on our social media pages. 

 

As such it may have seemed CVSRT have been less busy recently. We are indeed as busy as ever and as always we are on call and available 24 hours a day all year round. 

 

We would also like to take the opportunity to thank our neighbouring teams Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team (RPMRT), Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association (UWFRA), Oldham Mountain Rescue Team (OMRT) and in particular Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team (HVMRT) who are consistently available should we need some extra support.
