One of the biggest expenditures for the team is maintaining our fleet of four vehicles so they are ready to deploy at a moments notice.

Calder Mobile 1 & 4 are stationed in the centre of the Calder Valley at our main base in Mytholmroyd. Calder Mobile 3 is based at Copley in the Lower Valley and Calder Mobile 2 is based at Todmorden in the Upper Valley. These strategic locations enables us to provide a rapid emergency response anywhere within our operational area.

All our vehicles have an active service life span of about 15 years (where possible). This obviously depends on funding and donations. Currently Mobile 4 is our oldest vehicle and due to be replaced in 2017.

Whilst the team is able to maintain and care for the vehicles on a daily basis, the vehicles still required regular service, repairs and MOTs.
