New Recruits

 

All new aspirant Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) candidates are required to go through our three-stage selection process.  This includes submitting an initial application form, attending an open evening and finally a 10 hour long hill skills assessment. This is designed to check applicants suitability to progress onto our training programme.

 

It is with great pleasure that we welcome Nathan (a returning team member), Stuart, Luke, Rob and John as our trainees for 2021-22.  Welcome to the team and we wish you every success on your Mountain Rescue England and Wales (MREW) journey.  

 

They have wasted no time in getting involved having attended two training sessions so far along with supporting our monthly vehicle and equipment maintenance evening.

 

CVSRT would like to thank all the applicants who expressed interest in joining the team and attended the selection process.
