The funeral of Mr Robert (Bob) Uttley M.B.E, Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) Lifetime Vice President, was held at St. Mary's Church, Todmorden, on Monday 25th April. It was a fitting ceremony for someone who made such an impact to the local community. 

 

It was a privilege that team members of CVSRT were able to act as pallbearers and provide a guard of honour at the church. 

 

Thank you to everyone who paid their respects to Bob both online and in person and a huge thank you from CVSRT for all of the donations received throughout the day (over £750 at the time of posting).

 

Also thank you to Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team (HVMRT), Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team (RPMRT) and Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association (UWFRA) who provided mountain rescue cover in our area during the day.
