Whoosh Mountain Biking donate to CVSRT

22 Oct 2016

On Tuesday evening, CVSRT had a visit from Chris Kilburn from Whoosh Mountain Biking based in Hebden Bridge, who contacted us saying he’d like call in to our base in Mytholmroyd with a donation for the team.

As a mountain bike guide and instructor, Chris explained that he had recently organised a Mountain Bike Skills Course, and all the riders decided the course fee would be donated to charity and CVSRT was their chosen recipient.

Chris said, “We all love riding our biking on the trails around the area, and some the routes can be quite technical. At Whoosh, I share my passion for biking and provide riders the skills to stay safe whilst out and about. We hope we never need rescuing by CVSRT, but it’s reassuring to know that they are there if the worse happened.”

CVSRT Treasurer Richard Graves gratefully accepted the £60 donation, which will go directly towards keeping the team operational.
