An Arctic Spine Adventure

An Arctic Spine Adventure!

Last Monday we had the pleasure of attending an evening with Kirstie Law, who delivered a truly inspiring talk about her adventures on the Arctic Spine Race this January.

From incredible resilience to moments of real humour, we even discovered it’s apparently possible to survive for three and a half days on little more than macaroni cheese and a packet of Jammy Dodgers… though we’re not sure we’d want to try!

Kirstie is an exceptional and inspiring woman, and we’re hugely grateful to her for sharing her story with us.

At Kirstie’s request, the evening was held as a donation event in support of Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team. Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, an incredible £520.28 was raised.

A heartfelt thank you to Kirstie, Calder Valley Fell Runners, Mytholmroyd Community Centre, and everyone who came along and helped make it such a memorable and enjoyable evening.

Our 60th anniversary neck tubes are now back in stock. Please email anniversary@cvsrt.org.uk to order.
