The Calderdale Charity Tractor Run 2023 takes place this Sunday, 24th September 2023.

 

The start and finish is at Craggies Farm Shop, New Road, Cragg Vale HX7 5TT.

 

The convoy will be leaving at 11:30 and there will be music, BBQ and a bar afterwards.

It was a privilege that Sowood Women’s Institute chose Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) as their charity of the year.  Throughout 2022 they hosted several events, including books sales, quiz evenings and show stalls, all raising money for the team.

 

We recently met some of their members as they presented CVSRT with a cheque of the money raised over the year, an incredible £10,500.

 

Thank you so much to everyone at Sowood WI for choosing us as their charity for the year and the efforts in raising such a fantastic amount.  They even found time to knit some rescue teddies that have found a home at our base and in our team vehicles. 

 

Sowood WI was formed in October 2014 and has gone on to be one of the largest in the West Yorkshire Federation.
