#Weekend Events

You may see Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) members around the valley this weekend as we provide safety cover at events in the area.

__________
Saturday, 6th July: Todmorden Boundary Walk, Boundary Run, and Pike Hike

This event is organised by the Scouts and the Todmorden Rotary Club. Participants can choose from two distances: 22 miles and 11 miles. All proceeds will go to the Scouts and CVSRT.

Tickets are still available. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/todtic/t-nozqpvk

__________
Sunday, 7th July: Halifax Rotary Club Annual Community Walk and Castle Carr Fountains Operation

The Rotary Club of Halifax is hosting their annual community walk and operation of the Castle Carr Fountains, the highest gravity-fed fountain in the UK.

A guided walk will commence near the Cat I'th Well pub on Wainstalls Lane at 12 noon, covering a 2.5-mile route to the fountains.

Money raised will go to local charities, including CVSRT. We will have merchandise available for purchase during the day; however, due to limited signal strength in the grounds, we will only be able to accept cash.

Unfortunately, this year’s event is sold out, but you can visit the Rotary Club's website for more information and to keep an eye out for tickets for next year: https://www.rotary-ribi.org/clubs/page.php?PgID=910509&ClubID=197
