50th Anniversary Ale "Search & Rescue" from Vocation Brewery
Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team are extremely hoppy to announce the launch of a limited production 50th Anniversary Ale, “Search & Rescue” from Vocation, the world-class brewery based in Cragg Vale, West Yorkshire.
“Search & Rescue” is a pale 4.5% beer, brewed in classic Vocation style using a ‘MOUNTAIN’ of hops called MOTUEKA from New Zealand. These have a very distinctive sharp citrus tone with big aromas of pine and orange. The flavours are perfectly complemented by the right level of bitterness, layered over a slightly malty backbone - ideal after a day up ont’ hill or down int’ dale!
Vocation Brewery have been busy this week distributing the 50th Anniversary Ale throughout the Calder Valley, and everywhere from Scotland to Bristol ahead of the official launch this weekend… So seek and ye shall find.
Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team would like to take this hop-portunity to thank John Hickling and all at Vocation Brewery for their support. For every pint sold of 50th Anniversary Ale, a percentage of funds will be donated to the team.
Every penny raised will go directly to keeping the team operational and help us to continue to provide the essential voluntary emergency service for the community.
