Incident #1475
#CALLOUT
At 17:27 on Wednesday 27th September 2022, Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team (CVSRT) received a request from West Yorkshire Police (WYP) to assist in the search for an elderly male who had fallen down steep banking in Thackley Woods, Bradford, suffering a head injury.
CVSRT completed a rapid search of the area, locating the casualty and providing initial medical care. The casualty was then assisted, on foot, to a team vehicle and driven out of the woods to the awaiting Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) ambulance,
